As part of the current project CONNECTING THE DOTS, TANZKOOP offers a public campaign in addition to various networking meetings to provide more visibility to the Free Contemporary Dance Scene of Lower Saxony.


What's planned?

Visual and video content of you and your work will be made visible on our Instagram channel and at the TANZKOOP Studio in Braunschweig throughout the year. This content will also be presented as a scene trailer alongside others on 26.01.2024, at the new international dance festival Real Dance in Hannover.

You would like to be a part of it?

Then please send the following materials to - as a download link (e.g., via WeTransfer) by 17.11.2023:

  • 1-2 minutes of video reel (landscape format, minimum resolution 1080px) from one or more pieces (Attention: without piece title or other text inserts)

  • Name of the choreographer, names of the artists involved in the video, credits if additional music is used in the video

  • 1 photo of the choreographer (headshot) or the group (good quality)

  • 1-2 sentences in response to the following 3 questions:

    • Who are you, and how do you work? Who do you collaborate with?

    • What are you currently working on or planning?

    • 3 words to describe your artistic work/aesthetic: ...

Terms of participation

You produce and/or perform dance productions in Lower Saxony.

By submitting the above materials to TANZKOOP, the following declaration of consent applies: "I hereby confirm that I have all copyright and usage rights to provide text, video, and image materials to third parties (in this case, TANZKOOP GbR) and accept responsibility for the content of the submitted materials (text, image, video). I agree to the editing and publication of the submitted materials (text, image, video) on public platforms of TANZKOOP and its partners.
