Dance artists from TANZKOOP
Associated Artists
The TANZKOOP team brings together dance artists who curate, coordinate and contribute their expertise to the various TANZKOOP offerings, taking both an artistic and a cultural-political perspective on the scene. Together they draw on many years of experience and long-standing network connections to international platforms, festivals and companies. They are made up of a management team, in which the partners of the GbR bear the core of responsibility, as well as associated artists from the scene.

Liliana Barros
The Portuguese choreographer Liliana Barros has created several commissioned choreographies for dance companies such as the Nationaltheater Mannheim, the Saarland State Ballet, the State Theater Braunschweig, Gauthier Dance, the MiR Dance Company, the Dance Company Osnabrück and the Netherlands Dance Theater 2.
Her work has received numerous awards and travels internationally. Her independent productions have been regularly supported by the State and Foundation of Lower Saxony, the City of Braunschweig, and various other national funding institutions. Bora Bora Dance and Visual Theater in Aarhus, Denmark, and the LOT Theater in Braunschweig are her regular partners and co-producers. Her broad artistic expression leads to regular collaborations and connections with other art forms.
Barbara Santos
Born in Lisbon in 1995, the Portuguese artist studied art theory and aesthetics at the HBK Braunschweig. She then completed an internship as a curatorial assistant at the Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg. Her dance roots lie in commercial dance, such as hip-hop and K-Pop. She is also the CEO of "K-Pop Covers Portugal," an initiative that encompasses event planning, graphic design, and more. From 2022 to June 2023, she worked at TANZKOOP as a social media manager and assistant, creating projects such as Dance Tuesday.


Fabian Cohn
Fabian Cohn, born in Basel, completed a three-year training in Mime/Physical Theatre at the ETAGE School for the Performing Arts in Berlin. Since then, he has realized his own projects in the fields of dance and physical theatre, as well as film. He has also participated in various dance, theatre, and film productions. In his most recent works, Fabian Cohn explores the poetics of movement, the beauty and fragility of vitality, and the theme of connection.

up was founded by Josh Haines & Alina Jaggi in 2023 in Braunschweig.
up is a dance company that strives to uncover what lies beneath the surface. Combining diverse emotional, physical, and psychological approaches, up seeks nine forms of expression and a multifaceted state of being. Up's work is characterized by its accessibility yet emotionally articulate nature, its visual captivation, and its daring to venture into the absurd. Up also shares its holistic dance approach and training method, Spinal Mobility, with anyone who enjoys movement.
Josh worked as a freelance dancer and between 2014 - 2023 as a dancer with Gregor Zöllig at the Theater Bielefeld and the Staatstheater Braunschweig.
Alina has worked as a freelance dancer in various fields. From 2014 to 2018, Alina worked as a dancer at the GHT Görlitz/Zittau. After completing her training as an event manager, she worked for the LOT Theater and helped organize the dance program.
